Ancient eastern philosophy believed that there were 7 major chakras in each of us
and special stones are thought to activate each of these chakras:
1. garnet (base of spine) -- heals & removes negativity
2. carnelian (below naval) -- inspires creativity, physical energy and compassion
3. citrine (below breastbone) -- balances energy and aligns chakras
4. rose quartz (heart) -- love energy & balances energy
5. turquoise (throat) -- center of communication, expression and spiritual guidance
6. lapis (3rd eye) -- spiritual awareness, intuition, light
7. amethyst (crown of head) -- enlightenment, cosmic consiousness, energy,
perfection.
